Goethe-Institut Boston Info: +1 (617) 262-6050 x19 Calling all kids (6-11), teenagers (12-17) and adults (18+) from New England to participate in the Goethe-Institut Boston's great photo contest! Capture a fairytale-like scene with your camera and write a few words in German about it OR dress up as your favorite fairy tale hero (or villain, or sidekick, etc.) and win!

Märchenwettbewerb © colourbox.com How to enter: participants must submit ONE photo to goetheinstitutb@gmail.com with the subject title "Maerchenhaft". Participants are also required to submit their full name and age in the email. The participant must EITHER dress him- or herself as a fairy tale character OR take a picture inspired by a fairytale theme and include a short description in German (max. 100 words). Magic objects, charmed princesses, enchanted forests, fascinating challenges, heroic animals, witchcraft, tough punishments and happy endings. Be inspired by the magic and diversity of fairy tales! Prizes: Kids 1. Kids Course at the GI Boston* + free admission to a fairy tale show for you, your parents and up to five friends at the Puppet Showplace Theatre 2. Storybook of Grimm's Fairy Tales 3. Fairy Tale DVD Teens 1. Teen Course at the GI Boston* + gift card for "iParty" store 2. Storybook of Grimm's Fairy Tales 3. Fairy Tale DVD Adults Language Course at the GI Boston* + two tickets to the ballet performance "Sleeping Beauty" The winning photos will also be prominently displayed at the poster exhibit Fairy Tale Worlds ("Märchenwelten") at the Goethe-Institut Boston until the end of the Grimm year. The winner(s) will be selected by a panel of Goethe-Institut Boston and German Consulate General Boston staff members. The 1st place pictures of each category will be featured on the Goethe-Institut Boston website. Only submissions sent by email to goetheinstitutb@gmail.com will be accepted! Deadline: June 15 Winners will be notified by June 20. Submissions must not be offensive, illegal, or infringe on the rights of others, and such submissions are subject to disqualification.
