As we fight hard to get more German INPUT during our personal time, perhaps this tech tip might be of interest:
I've learned that many avid gaming German learners use a program called Steam to play computer games. (Steam seems to be the most ubiquitous platform for computer gaming.)
By RIGHT CLICKing on a game that that you own, go to PROPERTIES, and click the LANGUAGES tab to set it to play in German! (Most games seem to have German as an option.)
There seems to be a range of options, from changing the in-game text to German, to replacing all of the audio with German language audio.
Let me know if this proves to be a productive and even relaxing way of getting some additional German input at home!
