Warum Nena? SXSW in Austin


The Annual South By Southwest International Music Extravaganza ends today, and I learned that the contingent from Germany was down by one musician, because in the end, the USA didn't grant a visa to him -- just as they had denied one to Nena Hagen in the past. Why this? There's only speculation.

At any rate, did you know that obtaining an Arts Visa to perform in the USA costs about $1,000?

    Reisen nach Amerika, so schwierig ist heutzutage.

    Jahrhunderte hat gepassieren und Goethe noch gut aussieht :P

    Das ist teuer und ich weiß, es ist schwer, ein Visum zu bekommen. Mein Cousin war einer im vergangenen Sommer abgelehnt.
